Children may be able to speak really well and have an extensive vocabulary. This doesn't mean they always do well talking to other children, talking in groups or talking to adults. Sometimes they need help speaking and conveying their meaning.
Parents should not worry if their child has trouble talking. It happens from time to time and it is treatable. But you should not wait to get treatment. If your child is consistently not talking under certain circumstances, call us immediately and schedule an appointment. We can investigate why your child is not talking and come up with a plan.
