Testimonials

There is a reason people in Bellevue WA trust us.  We bring the most experience to speech therapy, feeding, and orofacial myology than anyone else.

I can't thank you enough for the results we've seen with you in such a short amount of time. It's so amazing to hear the difference in my daughter's speech, and you've given her the tools to stay on top of things and continue to work and improve. We're so grateful to have found you! After a frustrating and unsuccessful attempt (and many dollars and hours) working with a "typical" speech therapist, you've changed everything and given my daughter the confidence in her speech we've been waiting to hear. Thank you for the amazing work you do, and lives you are changing.

After going through oromyofunctional therapy with two of our daughters, we can truly appreciate the importance of early diagnosis. One daughter went through her entire treatment plan with her first orthodontist, with no mention of a tongue thrusting problem. Two years later, her bite completely opened back up. Fortunately, her new orthodontist identified the tongue thrust and the problem is being corrected. Had her habit been spotted earlier, we could have saved a lot of money and correcting the problem would have been far easier for our daughters. If correcting a tongue thrust habit is so easy, it’s hard to understand why some dentists and orthodontists have never even heard of tongue thrust! If your dentist or orthodontist isn’t informed, you could be wasting a lot of money.

I was diagnosed with a bilateral tongue thrust swallow pattern early in my treatment for orthodontic problems. In my case, it was determined that my bilateral tongue thrust was a major contributor to my orthodontic issues. My orthodontist felt that if I did not cure my disorder it would undermine my orthodontic correction once my braces were off. I can state with confidence that the oromyofunctional program I have been participating in over the last year has cured my disorder and the process, because of Nancy Magar, was painless and enjoyable.
